Is California Governor Gavin Newsom Misusing Donations?

Is California’s Governor getting donations that he shouldn’t be? California Governor Gavin Newsom and his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom seem to be quite the power couple. Governor Newsom runs the state while Jennifer Siebel Newsom promotes “gender justice” through her charity The Representation Project. According to tax documents, the organization aims to “build a thriving and inclusive society through films, education, and social activism.” However, it has been reported that while Governor Newsom engaged in the unethical practice of soliciting state vendors for campaign funds, Jennifer Siebel Newsom also solicited state vendors and campaign donors for her charity, The Representation Project. It should be noted that the charity should not have solicited donations during most of 2022.
