Due to powerful winds, California fires are pushing residents out of their homes at a moment’s notice.

Lars brings on Ken Charles, Program Director for KNX Newsradio to discuss how California is managing the fires with winds over 50 MPH.  Power lines may be sparking fires with the high wind speeds and instead of spending money to bury the power lines underground, they’re creating more fires.  Burying lines is 10-25 times more expensive, however, if they picked specific areas where there is the greatest chance of high winds the costs would be minimal.  Listen below for more.
