AP Accused of Accepting $8M in Donations for Climate Change Coverage

Did the Associated Press take payoffs to promote climate change coverage? According to a year-end report from the Competitive Enterprise Institute and other think tanks, The Associated Press and several other media outlets are engaging in dubious claims about climate change and took $8 million in donations to fund their coverage in 2022. The report, called “Climate Fact Check 2022”, claims that “climate alarmists” and members of the media have made claims about the relationship between human-made emissions and natural disasters that conflict with “reality and science.” For more information, Lars speaks with Tom Harris, who is the Executive Director of the International Climate Science Coalition (ICSC).
