Public safety doesn’t seem to be the #1 priority for Multnomah county.

Lars brings on Multnomah County Sheriff, Michael Reese, to discuss the reduction in state funding for community corrections. The $5.4 million reductions will result in the losses of probation staff as well as the loss of 73 beds and treatment programs. The cuts will provide less supervision upon the release of convicted criminals which is causing concern amongst the public. Listen below for more.
