Northwest’s Taxpayers Forced to Defend Criminal Illegal Aliens

As a law-abiding, tax-paying citizen of the Pacific Northwest, do you really want your elected leaders spending their time and resources defending criminal illegal aliens?

Let’s be clear—some leaders in this region seem perfectly fine with that. While working-class Oregonians are trying to make a living, politicians and so-called “community leaders” are scrambling to protect the very people who broke the law to get here. In their eyes, it’s more important to fight deportations than protect the interests of hard-working, legal American citizens.

Now, with the return of the Trump administration in January, we’re staring down the potential for one of the largest deportation crackdowns in U.S. history. Trump has promised a major operation that could lead to massive family separations and throw the state’s already fragile workforce, especially in agriculture and construction, into chaos. This isn’t just some theoretical fear—this is happening, and it’s going to impact every single taxpayer who’s been left to pick up the tab.

Oregon’s sanctuary law, which prevents local police from cooperating with federal authorities on immigration enforcement, is practically begging for the incoming administration to make an example of it. Oregon may find itself at the center of the storm because of this—and yet, here we are with elected leaders more concerned with protecting illegal immigrants than the people who actually voted for them.
