With the purchase of Time-Warner Cable by AT&T HBO may be stepping into the spotlight. With the planned upcoming HBO streaming service, John Stankey the newly appointed head of Warner Media announced at a recent town hall that he wanted to improve the position of HBO’s streaming service, and hinted at a change in focus and perhaps an influx in funding.
