Kamala Claims She’s Has Middle Class Roots, But Those Roots Are In RICH Soil

The most repeated phrase of the last week in American politics has been “I grew up in a middle-class household”.

The phrase is the excuse used by Kamala Harris anytime someone asks what she plans to do about the crazy cost of gas, groceries and rent.  She doesn’t have an answer to that but she “grew up in a middle class home”.

Five minutes of fact checking puts the lie to Kamala’s claim.

Take her parents: Donald Harris, a Marxist economics professor:  when Kamala was a kid his Stanford University paycheck was twice what the average American earned.

Her late mother was a top cancer researcher with a comfortable paycheck.

Kamala Harris always tells people she’s a “daughter of (working class) Oakland”, California.

Well, not quite.

She spent her childhood in homes in upscale Berkeley and Palo Alto.

She went to a private kindergarten.  I can’t find out what it cost back then, but today it would set you back 29 grand a year.

The nominee writes about how her family took frequent trips to Jamaica and to India now and then.  She took private lessons from a famous retired Russian ballerina.

I guess some people just have a different definition of “middle class”.

Others, of course, want to invent the kind of background that convinces you to vote for them.
