Are Democrats Failing Our Kids?

Is anyone really surprised that our kids are flunking math and civics while the left seems more interested in politics than education? Ryan Walters, Oklahoma State School Superintendent and former U.S. history teacher, doesn’t think so. With a lack of focus on K-12 education in Kamala Harris’ policy page, it’s clear that Democrats are failing to prioritize your children’s future.

We’re talking about a government-controlled, top-down education system that’s broken beyond repair. Math scores are in free fall, and our students are lagging behind their peers in other developed countries. Civics education? Forget about it! Most middle schoolers can’t even name the three branches of government. It’s no wonder students are showing up to college without a clue about the basics of American democracy.

Despite pouring over $15,000 per pupil into K-12 education, where’s the return on investment? It seems the only thing getting a passing grade is the bureaucracy that continues to push the same ineffective policies. If the left really cared about our kids’ education, they’d be doing something about it instead of keeping us in the dark.

So, what can we do? We need to demand real change and hold our leaders accountable. It’s time to put our kids’ education front and center. We can’t trust the left to prioritize our children’s future when they ignore the evidence right in front of them.
