Every year, I bring my northwest and national radio shows to Washington DC for two days of broadcasts from Capitol Hill. I started doing this a decade ago to be part of “Feet to the Fire” put on the by Federation for American Immigration Reform.
There are plenty of reasons to hold the feet of lawmakers and the President to the fire: National security, terrorism, health care, federal land policy – the list is endless – but Illegal aliens, immigration and amnesty hit the top of the list.
Remind your liberal friends that America is by far the most generous country on earth when it comes to immigration. We take in more refugees than all the other countries, and we allow more than a million people to immigrate here legally each and every year. Illegals spit in the face of American citizens and legitimate immigrants. They violate the law to come here, to work here, to take jobs and to take social service. Their travels to America provides a path for illegal narcotics and for terrorists and their tools.
Illegals commit murder, rape, robbery and the like. It has to stop.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that a group with no respect for our laws will come to America and commit a disproportionate number of crimes. Illegals commit murder, rape, robbery and the like. It has to stop.
This year, America has one presidential candidate who has made this his signature issue. Some folks want to believe that what Donald Trump has asked is extraordinary and outrageous. With due respect to Trump, it’s not. Years ago, Congress passed a law requiring that a barrier be built on our border with Mexico, and it never got done. Over six decades, Congress has passed mountains of laws designed to regulate immigration and to deport those who violate our laws.
Hillary Clinton vows in her speeches continue this lawless approach to illegal aliens
Our current President, who took an oath to faithfully execute the laws of the United States, has decided he is above the law. Trump promises to build the wall that the law requires and to enforce the laws on the books. Hillary Clinton vows in her speeches continue this lawless approach to illegal aliens and even expand it. That’s why I keep coming back to FAIR’s “Feet to the Fire,” and why I’ll keep coming back until America fixes this problem.
